Going Vertical

As the first step in building an energy efficient home, we chose Superior Wallls for a precast foundation. We will have a warm and dry lower level.

These "green" walls contain 1 inch of continuous DOW ® insulation, a special 5000 psi high-strength, low-water concrete mix, and the wall is reinforced with steel rebar and polypropylene fibers for strength. Many thanks to our friend Bob in Florida for advising us on our concrete selection.
